Hyderabad: In a major collaborative CSR initiative, Sanofi, Capgemini, and EduBridge have launched the Digital Academy in Hyderabad — a flagship program aimed at advancing inclusive digital education and empowering youth from underserved communities across India.
Located at Dilsukhnagar, the state-of-the-art facility spans 4,000 sq. ft. and features modern classrooms, computer labs, counseling zones, and collaborative learning spaces. The academy focuses on equipping women and youth from marginalized backgrounds with industry-relevant skills in high-growth sectors such as IT/ITeS, BFSI, and FinTech. Learners will receive access to a tech-enabled portal for tracking progress, building resumes, and exploring job opportunities. The program also includes mentoring by industry experts from Sanofi and Capgemini. On completion, participants will earn certification from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The Digital Academy targets 70% job placement for its trainees and provides an additional three months of post-placement support. Organizers expect participants’ household incomes to rise by 50–100% upon successful completion. Ashwin Yardi, CEO of Capgemini in India, said, “At Capgemini, we are committed to harnessing technology to build inclusive and sustainable futures. The Digital Academy not only imparts technical knowledge but also empowers youth with the confidence and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital economy.”
